Now I Know The Problem With My Pocket PC. I Slept On It!!!
http://akiba.sorobangeeks.com/news_8588.html
HP has clarified a problem I've been having with my Pocket PC. Apparently, they aren't designed to be slept on. 8O
Other useful tidbits include "Don't bang your iPAQ against hard objects." I would like to see the next page of this manual. It is sure to include gems like:
Don't put your iPAQ under water. Don't place your iPAQ under your car's tire to keep it from rolling down a hill. Don't use your iPAQ for target practice. Don't use your iPAQ as a shim in a Terex Titan 282B if it isn't sitting level. Don't use your iPAQ as an ad hoc thermal tile on the Space Shuttle
Any other things we shouldn't do with our iPAQs? :bangin:

Don't use your iPAQ to try and knock some common sense into the designers of the latest range.

sleeping on your axim x5 is safe
hahaha.... well, i actually do sleep on my Dell X5. Sometimes, it gets lonely and cries in middle of the night (it has nightmares of an X30 taunting it), so I take it and it sleeps on my bed.
Seriously though, I put my X5 under my pillow and sleep on it most of the time. There just isnt much room around my bed to put the PDA after I use before I sleep, so under the pillow it goes. Never had a problem before. My head isnt heavy enough to crack the screen (maybe I really am an airhead..), and Ive even charged it under there without causing it to combust and engulf my head in flames while I sleep.

Do not use iPAQ as a floatation device.
Do not use iPAQ as an alarm clock.
Do not use iPAQ as a marital aid.
Do not make iPAQ an offer it can't refuse.
Do not use iPAQ 4700 as paving stone in your driveway, even though it would fit right in.
Do not taunt iPAQ.

Drat! Beat me to it. (only mine involved not shoving it up a part of their anatomy, and I'm not talking about noses)

It works just fine if you use the proper end. I've used the back end of my 1915 stylus in that fashion. I don't want to use the pointy end as I have one of those metal ones with a pen and a removable tip... Imagine walking into the ER and having to explain that one. 8O

Do not drop your Pocket PC in the toilet. Ask Marloff about that.
 Sorry, old buddy, to bring up such a sore topic, but it should be included in the manual.
