Hardware Review Roundup: LOOX 710/720, XDA III, and iPAQ 3715
We don't normally do review roundups here, but we got a few today, so it seems best to list them all in one post.- Pavel has written up a preview of the F/S LOOX 710 and 720 VGA Pocket PCs over on PDAGold. Some very nice hi-res pictures, as always!
- Mobile-Review.com has written up an extensive review on the HTC Blue Angel GSM Pocket PC Phone with thumbboard (otherwise known as XDA III/MDA III/Qtek 9090). I'm particularly impressed with the versatile software bundle it comes with.
- pocketnow has a review of the iPAQ rx3715. In traditional pocketnow form, they take pictures of the device from every possible angle, and then some. They also have screenshots of the NevoMedia software bundle that sets the 3715 apart from other Pocket PCs.
All three are fantastic reviews, so check 'em out. If anyone wants to buy me one of each, I wouldn't mind.

A pity (for me) that the HP does not have a built in keyboard, and that the tumbpad it does have, is very bulky. In a pure PDA, I have concluded that an attached keyboard is not that important (for me) but in a converged device (i.e. email) a keyboard always at the ready (like the MDA III or the new Moto MPX) is essential.

If you got all 3 of them, kindly ship the fujitsu loox to Duncan.
To honor his undying dedication toward the looxies.
