Default Qtek 9090 aka XDA III To Enter Swedish Market

http://premium.mobil.se/nyheter/vis...p?id=8385&sid=1

XDA III which has been discussed here willl be called Qtek 9090 in the Swedish market. The device is scheduled for release this fall, according to the Swedish mobile magazine "Mobil". Mikael Brekh, CEO of distributor Brightpoint, does not however reveal anything regarding pricing.

When I first saw the first XDA (XDA I) in Redmond, I knew this would be my future companion. I have then gone from XDA I to XDA II and on to... an iPAQ Pocket PC + Smartphone 2003. My wife uses the XDA II and she loves it. For me it's about combining the best of both worlds. I will definately try out the XDA III though since I thoroughly miss a keyboard.

The XDAIII seems nice, but I maybe not much my type of device. I want more of a VGA, CF, SDIO type of device and I doubt any such PPCPE will come out this year.

Talking about the linked article, a guy there asks (thru the comments section) if one can run Skype on the Qtek 9090. Well, of course you can! The device runs Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC OS which is supported by Skype. Ok, you can't know everything... (Any one care to answer the fella? )

I don't know of the idea of buying a phone Pocket PC if you're only going to use Skype on it is a good idea... :?
