Want A Remote Chance To Win A Free Application?
I've never been terribly impressed with the Pocket PC's ability to serve as a universal infrared television/VCR remote control. On the other hand, I get pretty excited about using my Pocket PC's WiFi or Bluetooth systems as remote controls for Windows Media Player. The folks at Zerama Corporation like the idea, too, because they've developed Zerama Remote for just that purpose.
"Zerama Remote turns your Wi-Fi or BlueTooth enabled Pocket PC into the Ultimate Windows Media Player Remote Control."
Features include:
Basic Player controls: Play, Pause, Stop, Next, Previous, Shuffle and Repeat. Offline library browsing Sorting of libraries Seamless integratation with the desktop Media Player 9 Library quick search Desktop full screen video mode Playlist Mangager easily creates, deletes, and modifies playlists Improved Connectivity Auto Reconnect ...and more.
And better yet, Zerama has magnanimously offered to give a free Zerama Remote license to ten lucky Thoughts readers! I think we'll make this giveaway as easy on you as possible, so you don't have to actually DO anything to be entered to win. We'll randomly select the winners in a few days from our database of all registered Thoughts readers, so make sure you're registered!

Wow, I have a 1 in 18,041 chance. That's like .0005% chance... well, better than winning the lottery.
Unless you include DMT & SPT's users... than...3 in <large number>... not much better odds.

Nevo is good and the CIR on the 2200 is plenty strong, but I really like PDAWin's TVRemote better with the included Pronto CCF file support.

I never use Nevo anymore. It was a pain to download the drivers I needed for my particular systems and my Nevo settings kept getting lost. After going through the exercise of setting things up for the third time, I gave up.
