Haven't had enough iPAQ stuff yet today? 8O Well, here's some more reading for you:Not enough for you? Engadget has even more. Plus, check out HP's press kit on the new devices, with datasheets and high-res images. Me, I'm in iPAQ overload mode now...

Well, that's to be expected. After all, this is the date it all becomes official. Ever since I read that it was going to be Monday, I've been expecting that most of the posts today would be iPAQ related.

I don't plan on buying one, but I am looking forward to trying them in person...especially the 4700.

Personally, I think these new models are fugly. HP was on a roll design wise for a long time, and now they seem to be taking a serious step backwards. It was the 19xx line that really put HP in the game. And what about those existing 19xx models? Will they be discontinued? If so, I can promise you the new line isn't going to sell nearly as well as its predecessor.

Finally a picture of the flip cover  I don' t like it. For some reason I was expecting a top flip cover ala jornada. They should've added buttons to the top of the 4700, it looks far more useful in landscape mode.

I would like to have seen a more detailed test on the hx4700. It would've been nice to see the speed difference between applications running in ROM and RAM.

Wow, the 4715 has a flip cover! That might make the size more acceptable since a case isn't really required.

I'm disapointed by the lack of 4700 reviews

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!! All I care about is they finally have a freaking flip cover on a next gen Pocket PC!! I can finally upgrade from my aging Jornada 568.
