New version of OpenNETCF Smart Device Framework
Version 1.2 of OpenNETCF Smart Device Framework was released on July the 15th. The latest version includes WSE 2.0 support, enhanced graphics functionality and many other additions. All the source-code is available online. The framework is free and adds very valuable .NET Compact Framework components to a developer's tool box. Installing is very simple but requires uninstalling older version(s). Framework designer controls are grouped together in the IDE (image) for easy access.
I always bring OpenNETCF Smart Device Framework into every new .NET Compact Framework project I manage or participate in. It is simply awesome.

Whoa - I have never installed the entire framework - I just pick the bits I need, grab the source and throw it in. I didn't realise it all integrates in to the IDE... thats Cool.
Gotta go get it now....

Darryl,
No worries. If you are going to make a suggestion, put some serious thought into it and tell us exactly what you'd like to see. Don't just suggest "I'd like to see a charting/graphing control"

Another stepping stone for us Pocket PC users to fully appreciate what .NET has to offer for the PPCs!
Good work Neil!

How did I miss this product? In no time I wrote a little browser and am posting this message from my .NET PPC emulator. Now I can really do the kinds of things that I want to do!
Thanks for a great product!
