Euro de Bolso - Pocket Euro
The linked page is in Portuguese, but if what I understand is right you can use this freeware program to keep score of the results in the games in one of the biggest sport events around here, the UEFA European Soccer Championship 2004 or Euro 2004. The program will also help you to find out that so far Spain, Russia, Croatia, Switzerland, Italy and Bulgary didn't go through to the quarter finals, and today Latvia and of course Germany won't make it there either.* The program uses the Macromedia Flash Player 6.0 of which you should install the latest build, since earlier builds contained some bugs that prevented this from working right. The program is available in Portuguese and English, it is free, and can be downloaded from PCdeBolso.com.

* Although in all honesty I'm sorry to say that my country, The Netherlands, are a good candidate for dropping out; what can I say, at least we qualified this time, and according to some we were Robbed by our own coach...

During the last week we got numerous requests for the "Pocket Euro" to be translated to other languages.
Although this is not our main goal, here it is a new version, improved and fixed, that we hope you enjoy.
With this little app ( just 250k ) you can record the results of different games and follow up the championship progress.
This application continues to be totally freeware and to be distributed in modules.
In this version youll continue to be able to register the results, or you can proceed to the auto update thru the internet if you wish, or play the first of the 3 games to be available.
Although I translated it, I have no idea about the last part of the last sentence ( I just woke up, my brain is in power saving mode )

It appears that the program requires Macromedia Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC 2003 to run. I found it at: http://www.macromedia.com/software/f...etpc/2002.html
Otherwise it looks to be a neat little program for us football fans.

No quite. Germany will surely advance to the next round by beating Czech Republic 2:0.[/quote]

Thanks, very good little utility.
As for Netherlands' run... yeah, I feel bad voor Oranje but what can you do, at least they weren't monstered out as Romania's chance to qualify or at least as Italy's outing.

I guess that's why I stated that you needed the latest build of Macromedia Flash Player 6. Thanks for link though!

If this is no interest to you, you can simply ignore it! Remember, outside of the US, soccer is the most popular sport in the world...
