Default Audible Books $9.95 Until June 21, 2004

http://www.audible.com

Audible is having a sale on all of their books. They are $9.95 each until June 21, 2004. The discount will be applied at the time of checkout. Figures. I just purchased one about 3 days ago, before the sale started on June 16, 2004 for $19.95. :|

Can I finally play my books with MS Reader under WM2003? That's when I got pissed at them, I didn't want to load their dinky little reader...

Audible may be a bit busy, because I've been trying to download one of my subscriptions and it keeps timing out. So, if you want to go there and buy a book, be patient.

No it is store-wide on all titles for all customers!

If I didn't have a backlog of titles to listen to I would be making more use of it. I did buy one $45 book for $9.95 though.

They are the same price or lower than books on CD here in Indiana. I'll take the portability and multiple format availability from Audible anyday. Plus, I never have to worry about the CD scratching or tape getting broken, because I can always re-download.

Does the low price also apply on iTunes?
