Speck SkinTight PDA Skin for 19xx
"The SkinTight PDA Skins provides protection against scratches and bumps without adding bulk. Its unique Dynaflex material stretches over and hugs your PDA and provides a great grippy feel. The included screen cover easily flips out of the way and prevents damage to the delicate screen."
These look pretty interesting! In addition to the "clear" color shown in the photo, the SkinTight case also comes in translucent blue and green. There's a plastic flip cover for the screen (Jornada-holics take note) and cut-outs for the stylus and ports. The price is $24.95 for one skin, and $34.95 for a pack of three.

They're very nice cases for the iPod. It will be interesting reading reviews about this case for a Pocket PC. It will by far be one of the slimmest cases ever!

It'd be interesting to see how this compares against JavoEdge's ClearCase. I was planning to buy that and this case has come out. I will wait for a review of the Speck Skin-Tight case before deciding.

The JavoEdge is much too fragile. I've already broken mine for my h1945 by just pressing on the hinge when inserting headphones. I've also had my PDA fly out of the case in a fall.
Though it is fun to try out new cases and I think the Javoedge is great for special events when you want to pull out your PDA and draw attention. Just be careful with it.
I wish some aluminum case vendor would follow the flip design of the javoedge though... that was kind of nice.
I would certainly love to hear reviews on this new rubber case. Looks cool. Hopefully someone can drop test it do.

Now this I like!
While I like the idea of cases, I always find that the extra bulk ends up putting me off and the case will wind up in a draw somewhere. This, however, would be just the thing for whatever my next PDA purchase is. An integrated screen cover (Yes, I am a Jornada-holics - and damn proud of it!) and something to protect from the ineveitable scratches from being carried in my pocket or bag.

Does anyone wanna guess which is thinner/smaller comparing the JavoEdge and this new rubberized skin case?
Speck seems to have omitted actual size specifications...
javoedge however is 4.67 x 3 x 0.74 inches
11.85 x 7.6 x 1.87centimeters
i'm comparing the 1900 cases of course...

The speck case is a little smaller overall.
