Default Apache geeks: Redirecting old dynamic URLs

Okay, so after my site was hacked a couple weeks ago, I changed to a different backend software package for my site. This had the unfortunate side effect of breaking dang-near every hyperlink to my site on other Web sites across the Internet. So my question for any Apache masters out there is this:

How do I redirect
Code:
http://www.beauvais1.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=2
to
Code:
http://www.beauvais1.com/archives/2004/04/10/pocket-internet-explorer-start-page/
A simple redirect statement in the .htaccess file simply tacks on the question mark and everything after it to the end of the new URL. Obviously that doesn't work. I tried a rewrite rule, but that didn't seem to do anything at all, either.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated because quite a few sites link to the first URL (and several like it) and those links no longer work. Thank you!
