Arrows logic game released
Weve been sent news of another puzzle style game. This time its called Arrows (wonder why) and its from PPC Original-Games their first one by the look of the site.
All your bricks are belong to us
"There is a field - 6x6 cells. Each field can be empty or contain a colored brick with arrow on it. Arrow direction depends on the bricks color (or vice-versa). You can manipulate these bricks: click on the brick to move it accordingly to it's arrow direction. Groups of two or more bricks having the same color dissapear, but each turn some new bricks come to the field. Destroy bricks to earn points. The goal is to earn as much points as you can. The game ends when there are no empty cells left on the field so it's impossible to place incoming bricks on it." Game over man. :P
"It's better than Lines!", apparently. Theres 7 days trial version; why not give it a whirl?

Whorls are what you use to tell how old a tree is, or more specifically, how old it was before it was cut down.
You might want to change that last bit to "give it a whirl".
Edit: unless whorl is the British spelling.

No, no, it's a fair cop. It was late, I was tired. :morning:
So, anyone tried it yet?

Yup - tried it.
It's not bad, I'd give it 6/10.
Quite a decent little puzzler let down by the fact that there's no real strategy to the game because you don't know what's coming or where. Swap arrows, hope for the best, swap again, etc. without any real plan.
I did however spend about 30 mins trying to beat the 1000 point barrier (1080 to be exact) so it can't be all bad!
Iain.

I like this little puzzler game. I do have trouble with the two teal/greenish color blocks....they look so similar on my screen HP1930.
I went to the website to let the author know, but couldn't find a "contact us" link. Perhaps you can let the author know.
Thank you,
Lisa

One of my friends make the 10150 points in the beta-version of Arrows. And another cant make more than 1600.
And you arent right when claim, saying that the game hasnt strategy - you need to think about next turns to do more points.

I keep playing that demo! The colors seem fine now especially since I pay more attention to the direction of the arrows. Was trying to reach the 5000 mark, only hit 4580. Just curious if there is a special event if one is able to clear the screen? (As if I could ever do that!) Might have to fork over the cash pretty soon...it's a fun game, like the sounds!

Please, write what kind of further information you would like to get.
If you ask about full clear the screen - it's impossible, because "each turn some new bricks come to the field".
