Default Margi Presenter-to-Go Secure Digital Card Solution

http://store.yahoo.com/margistore/p...ssdcarfor2.html

"The Presenter-to-Go SD Card allows users of specific Pocket PC handhelds with SDIO slots to connect directly to digital projectors or other VGA displays. PC Software compresses files from PowerPoint or any printable Windows application into a format that can be transferred to a handheld device.

Presenter-to-Go Includes:
Presenter-to-Go SD Card/Cable for use on specific Pocket PC handhelds with SDIO slots
CD-ROM with Presenter-to-Go Software Plug-in for Powerpoint 97/2000/XP for Windows. Software for slide creation in virtually any application, supported on Win 98/98SE/ME/2000/XP/NT4.
MARGI Mirror application for output of handheld LCD
 Projector Connection Cable
 A/C Adapter
 14-button Infrared Remote Control
 Carrying case"

Finally! A VGA out solution for SD card! But wait...why isn't there iPAQ 4150 on that list, or other SDIO compatible Pocket PCs? Hrm. :?

It looks like they're pretty clear about the cards they do and don't support.

I wonder what the holdup is. I thought all SDIO Now! capable devices should have SDIO peripherals that are interchangeable with one another.

Indeed - that's what I find really disturbing about this. Unless this is because the product is based on bSquare's SDIONow! project and not compatible with other SDIO slots? Aughh....SO fustrating!

Do those Pocket PCs use a graphics accelerator?

Is SDIONow! a software/firmware upgrade or is it a hardware thing?

Default Presenter-to-Go - iPAQ CD

On the iPAQ website there is ref to the Margi Presenter-to-Go application on the included CD

I think this references the s/w and not the h/w.
