Default Imageer Reviews + Subscriber Discount

http://www.handango.com/brainstore/...roductId=102019

Well, the reviews on Spb Imageer are rolling in, and results seem to be unamious: it's a great app. Being one of the co-creators, that pleases me greatly (yes, I'm fully biased!). Here are some of the latest reviews:

"Spb Imageer has some unique features that I haven't seen in other applications, and the access speed is the fastest I have seen on a Pocket PC." - Geek.com

"Every once in a while, an application is released that becomes the definitive software in that class. SPB Imageer is that software for photo imaging. If you plan on doing any photo displaying on your Pocket PC, Imageer is a must-have." - pocketnow.com

"Spb are bullish in their insistence upon speed and streamlining for Imageer, and the program certainly delivers. A range of common functions are both fast and accessible, exemplified by the storage card notification, and within minutes we were merrily tapping away on icons and zipping around the program without having to think about it - always a good sign." - infoSync World

I'm also happy to announce that Spb Software House has given Pocket PC Thoughts subscribers a 25% discount coupon for Imageer. Subscribers should check out the discounts page, where they'll also find some nice GPS hardware discounts and $10 off Agenda Fusion.

Add me to the list. It's brilliant.

I owned Palbum Suite, and now plan to purchase Imageer very soon.

You guys crank out some of the best software that exists on the Pocket PC.

Period!

Jason & Spb, Congrats on a fine application. This application is a great deal even without the subscriber discount.

On a side note: I have one feature request, and I imagine it isnt' too big a thing. I would like to turn off the picture name when viewing an image.

I think you can do that already. In Options, on the Notes tab, uncheck "Display text notes" and "Show file name when text note is absent."

I think that should do it for ya.

ops: You are correct. I take it back. I have no feature requests. This app has it all.

You wouldn't believe how much we debated that issue - suffice it to say, the compromise was that it would NEVER show in slideshow mode by default, but always show by default in regular photo viewing mode - until you turn it off. ;-)

I feel like an idiot cause I can usually figure out stuff on my own...but when syncing up I accidently chose the option to use the conversion settings for all pictures from now on...how can I change that option now to use these settings for the current batch?

1. Open ActiveSync

2. Open Options -> Rules -> Conversion Settings -> Desktop to Devices

3. Select JPEG Imager (*.jpg) and press the Edit buton

4. Choose "Optimized JPEG File [User Must Choose]". Other options are:
"No Conversion" and
"Optimized JPEG File [Last Settings]

As a satisfied owner of Palbum (which incidently I got gratis as a reward or doing beta testing), I could not but upgrade to Imageer. I haven't been able to spend much time with it so far, but looks impressive so far. Somehow Palbum used to crash on my iPaq 2215, so imageer could not have come at a better time.
