Schwab Wireless Page

I'm not sure when Schwab added wireless access but they have it now. I last visited their site with my Pocket PC a few months ago and while manageable, it wasn't pleasant. Their PC based page has lots of image navigation and when it is compressed on the Pocket PC, it is tricky trying to get to where you want to go. On your Pocket PC, simply go to www.schwab.com and you will be redirected to the new site. Kudos to their web master for sniffing out the Pocket PC browser. It works on a Windows Mobile 2003 device. I don't have a 2002 device handy to see if it works there, but it should.

You can trade, check balances and a number of other things. The only thing I wanted to do and couldn't was transfer funds. :| I had to resort to logging into my Citrix Server and doing it from there. I'll have to call them Monday and recommend they add the "Transfer" page to the wireless pages.

It looks like the online brokers are finally catching on. Scottrade's mobile site (http://mobile.scottrade.com) also works nicely on a PPC. However, they too could add some more functionality, such custom watch lists, etc.
