Vaja Releases New XDA II Case
If you're willing to splurge for a new XDA II, why not protect it with a nice case? Vaja has just released one, and as always, it looks fantastic. It's under "Smartphone Cases" on their website. [Affiliate]

Based on the orientation of the SD card slots I can rule this one out since it does not look like I will be able to carry my WiFi SDIO card in there. Thought I shuld point out for other WiFi users attention. Otherwise looks like an excellent product. Pity.

Fair comment, mate. I always find myself between two extremes when I think about the right case.
- it should just be for the device
- it should be able to carry add-on battery and CF cards and WiFi and credit cards, my license, coins and money, a headset and - just a wish for christmas - a coffee machine as well (I really thought if I should get one hand-made for all this - excluding the coffee machine though)
Seriously, if we expect that vendors offer a special case for every accessory we'll end up with a very different price and longer delivery times.
Pretty important is also that the WiFi card would pretty much scratch your screen in the way you describe it...

I think the WiFi SDIO card might fit in the credit-card slot..? Just a random idea.

Vaja Case for XDA II
I was all set to order a Vaja case for my T-Mobile, but while I was waiting for it to be deliviered, each time I checked back on the case the price had gone up. I started with $89 and ended with $124. I thought that was a bit much but I have always drooled over the Vaja cases.
Now I plan to get one for my MDA II and when I go to the site they don't have this one in the two tones that the original case had. That's what made it so sharp IMO. Hope they read this and get two work on a two-tone color version.

Actually, they do have two-tone versions of this case. Vaja's kind of weird when it comes to the colors of their cases...if you choose an embossed case (the first choice in the drop-down), you get only solid colors. If you choose a non-embossed case, you can get a two-tone case.
Or are you talking about a two-tone case where the colors are "vertical" as opposed to "horizontal"?
On a totally unrelated note, I find it highly amusing that Vaja attempts to sell you a pouch for your cell phone on the order page for the XDA II case.

Vaja is unquestionably the biggest pain in the butt for ordering and their customer service just plain SUCKS!!! Trust me on this.
Would I buy another case from them, YES! Why? Because they are unquestionably the nicest and best fitting cases available. Period!

It is kinda amazing me that they chose to model the MDA II with its black faceplace with a black case - when I first saw it, it took me a minute to realize where the case left off and the device started. An XDA II or I-Mate would have made this distinction easier, or simply putting the MDA in the grey case.
Well, maybe i'm just the only one to really care about this

Huh. Sorry to hear you've had problems. Sounds like it must have been really bad. I personally own 2, and have just ordered a 3rd. I have never had problem ordering, or with customer service.
