Default Smilies Soft Input Panel For Serious Chat Sessions

http://www.mypdacafe.com/~sillycat/smip.php

If you are into serious chat sessions with Messenger on your Pocket PC, the Smilies SIP might be of some help. It has 30 of the most popular smilies from MSN Messenger and Yahoo's Messenger service.

It is free and available for Pocket PC 2002 devices. It doesn't mention Pocket PC 2003 on the page yet so I don't know if the install works for newer Pocket PCs or not. Now, if only MSN Messenger could show the icons instead of characters.

I would only find this mildly useful. If you have to change input panels to plac a smiley it much rather type :) .

Was a bit surprised when I saw your post. Checked Yahoo... gone... Searched and the following board confirmed what you said http://www.pocketpcmag.com/forum/top...?TOPIC_ID=2680 They also mention an alternative solution.
