Is it just me, or does the price point of this software push this app out of the "Novice Wine Person" range into the Connoisseur range?
$20 for an app the Average Joe might only get to use once or twice a year???
Now, if I did have that cellar chilled and properly humidified, this would be a steal...

I would say that someone who only needs it once or twice a year isn't Novice, but rather Beginner. I use the software probably once every couple of weeks, have around 3 dozen bottles of wine in my cellar, and I consider myself to be a complete Novice.
Realistically, the Connoisseur probably wouldn't have as much use for the software as the Novice does, because he would totally know what he's doing without the software.....

A quick Google Search will turn up a 15% off discount code you can use.
I don't drink but a handful of bottles every year but I think I will probably still invest in this application, as I like to get wine as gifts for friends and family, and frankly never know what is good and what's crap.

FYI, if you download the trial from Handango, their current version is circa 2003, build 82.
If you go directly to Landware.com and download the trial here, you will get their most current version, circa 2004, build 85. They both look identical in the UI, so I would guess the 2004 ver has more up-to-date info.
The application looks excellent. Very Nicely Done Landware! :way to go:

As a subscriber to PPCThoughts you also get 15% off but do not know (well, doubt it, actually) if you can combine them.
