Default Belkin Announces Bluetooth GPS Unit for Pocket PC and Windows

http://www.bargainpda.com/default.a...owComments=true

"Belkin has announced a new Bluetooth GPS unit compatible with Pocket PC and Windows devices. The market must be larger than I though, with units from HP and Socket already on the market. Belkin's unit will ship in North America starting January 15th for $300."

Looks exactly like the Fortuna Clip-on GPS unit. It has both ST and XT modes.

Yup - that's a Fortuna. FANTASTIC GPS, by the way - I just purchased one a few days ago. $225 at semsons.com.

Default Recommendation?

I am looking to buy my wife a Bluetooth GPS to use with her iPAQ 5455. We live in Southern California. I have read about the Socket, Pharos, Fortuna/Belkin units but can't make up my mind.

Which Bluetooth GPS unit and/or software do you recomend?

Should I buy her a package with the software included or buy the unit and software separately?

Thanks!

Larry
