Very slight padding has been added to both the top and bottom flip for extra protection for the PDA, without adding too much extra �bulk�. Maybe I am missing something, but it looks like this case will only work for the X3 not the X3i. The X3i has a small antenna on the top for the WiFi and it doesn't look like this case compensates for that.
