Interesting to revisit? I'll say -- I was one of the original developers of SmartWare (or Smart Software, as it was originally known). We bagan in the spring of 1983, writing the word processor and spreadsheet (the database was written at the main office in KC, we were a satellite office in Maine). I had a 256K Compaq portable (luggable), dual 5 1/4" floppies, what a machine. DOS version 1.0, no directories. Lattice C compiler. Back in the day for PCs, indeed.

I remember doing some pretty nifty coding in SmartWare II in '88/'89. It was hot stuff in the days before we joined all the other sheep and implemented MS-Office. It will be interesting to see how it transfers to PPC.
