Default XDA Owners Take Note: PPC Techs Discount on Battery + RAM Upgrades

http://www.pocketpctechs.com/defaul...REFERER=PPCTHTS

"Based on our continued increased volume, we have made a special buy on the Hi-Capacity XDA battery and the 128MB memory chips. We are running a special through 12/31/03 for the following: the standard price for the 128MB XDA upgrade is $239 and the special will be $199. The Hi-Capacity battery can be added on for an additional $89. The standard price for the Hi-Capacity battery alone is $119 + shipping. The special price is $99 + shipping. This is true for the DIY kit or full installation. Additional batteries can be purchased for $89 + shipping.

The customer will need to enter the exact code: PPCTRD01 in the special instructions field on the weborder form. The discount will NOT show on the order, but will be applied when the unit is upgraded and ready to ship. I have also asked our UK distributor, Expansys.com to participate in the special pricing. ECC customers can order at:

http://www.expansys.com/other.asp?man=PPCTE

This will save the customer international customs & shipping fees, and shipping time. 2003 has been a phenomenal year for PocketPCTechs. We felt it was important to pass the savings on to our loyal customers as a way of saying thank you for their support." [Affiliate]

thats more than i paid for the entire device ($250)

8O

hmmmm

spend 290 to upgrade the XDA vs consider the XDA II for an equivalent 550 (850 - 300). i think the money is better spent on the XDA II.

Default Upgrade

How about a break for those of us who want the 64mb upgrade? I can't justify forking out $200+ for an upgrade, sale or not. I might as well get a new phone. However, I'm dying to invest some money into my unit but not that much!

Thanks
Caleb
