...another conversion program!
I have been using conversions in hand for a long time now and it seems to have the same abilities including currency update from the net and am very happy with this product.

I also use CIH and am very happy with it. However, this program is much cheaper and the price is more in line with what a program of these characteristics for a PPC should cost. BurrOak should lower the price of CIH by at least $5; a more attractive interface would be most welcome, too.

I used Conversion for a while. It's free but doesn't have updates or do currency.

Gamma Unit is far more complete than CiH. So many units aren't available in CiH, but they are in Gamma Unit. I do like the interface much better in CiH though. I have them both on my SD card now.

and extended look to get used to the different format showed that it is a well thought out program... seems to have a large number of conversions although it's not immediately obvious because of the branching option display.
I've already registered it and looking forward to it being a useful tool for a long time to come.

tip... several of the "major" catagories, notably "currency" activate the "Advance" menu option that exposes a number of additional conversions such as the Indian Rupee
