Does anyone think there will ever be a definitive solution to Spam? This is starting to get old. I just received my fist spam in my inbox ever. Not sure how since I don't share this e-mail address with anyone. huh. Of course 1 e-mail every few days is nothing to what some people get. So I guess I cant complain.

Ed, very funny but the joke is on us! A good friend of mine in marketing is out of work and has been temping. She was recently complaining about a guy she started working for in New York City. He is a Harvard graduate, very early twenties, seems to be a nerdy genius with terrible people skills. There are four others like him in the company and she is making $25 an hour for doing next to nothing. She said last year they made $2 million, this year they are expected to do $6. She gave me the name of the company, I did some digging around - guess what they do for a living?

Spammers use brute-force techniques - if they detect a valid domain, they'll use dictionary-based brute force attacks to find any and all valid email addresses. It sucks - you're truly not safe even if you never send an email out to anyone. :?
