Although not yet launched in Australia, it's possible to import the Microsoft Zune from the USA by buying it from an online store. Would we recommend this course of action before the official launch in mid 2007? Read on."

Not surprisingly, most of the Zune reviews we've read have come from the US, so it's always interesting to hear what reviewers in other countries have to say about Microsoft's new media player. Australia's PC Authority did just that, arriving at the conclusion that it's best to wait for a local release to take advantage of the Zune Marketplace. I tend to agree. The hardware is very capable, but being left out of the Zune Marketplace eats into the user experience, especially when an all-you-can-eat service such as Zune Pass is what you want access to.
