Default Pocket PC Magazine Re-vamps Web Site

http://www.pocketpcmag.com/

The people at Pocket PC Magazine have re-vamped their Web site, turning it into a packed information portal - there's a lot to look at! There are several newsletters that you can sign up at, and it looks like they're feeding all the info into the site. They also have some active forums to check out if you need a second home.

According to this page on pocketpcmag.com, you're actually offering $2700 in prizes. The contests just keep getting better and better! :rock on dude!:

It seems sort of ironic to me that their site is not all that pie friendly.

Maybe I just expect too much...

Well, FWIW, it's a lot of work to make a PIE-friendly site, especially if your content isn't dynamic (from a database).

The site looks better now, but I believe that the content is more or less the same...
It is just better presented...
There is also a mobile (limited) version of the site.

Use PIE to browse the site.

Btw, I found (with the small bit of browsing the site that I did) that the content fits nicely in PIE without horizontal scrolling. You miss the left and right parts of the site, bit there's only vertical scrolling.

No, it bugs me too. But I rarely see it because I use MyIE2, which has a pop-up killer built in. :-D

I'm using the new (possibly beta) Google toolbar and its popup killer seems to work really well. Haven't seen a popup since installed.
