You know where this would come in handy? I have some new "classic" video game units that package several old Atari games into one small device that outputs to composite video and audio. This would let me take the unit, and use my Pocket PC as the "TV" on which to play the games.

Very cool!

I've been looking at that for a while now and wanting to get one. Has anyone here tried one out? Is it worth it?

We've tried it just for viewing of video off a small remote camera and some limited frame capture; it worked for our needs, but our requirements weren't too stringent in this area.

An interesting thing to note is that the cable that plugs into the CF card part is an iPaq connector. I keep wondering if they're going to write software to allow that cable to be directly plugged into the serial/usb port on the bottom of iPaqs. THAT would be cool.

Default SD card?

I would like to get this kind of hardware device in SD card format!

Why?

Because I'd like to put my video or picture directly to T-Mobile MDA and send away in just a few click. No change sotrage device, no change cables, no open several application to save, reformat, cut, compose email and send. Could be great!
