Default T-Mobile Germany Announces New Pocket PC Phone Edition

http://www.infosync.no/news/2002/n/3952.html

T-Mobile is nearing a release date for the new MDA. "Declining to delve into further detail, T-Mobile promised improvements both to the processor and memory of the upcoming MDA. The display will also be receiving some attention, as this is being upgraded to support 16-bit (65,536) colour yet remains of similar size and resolution as the original MDA - 3.5 inches and 240 x 320 pixels."

It includes a 640X480 camera, Windows Mobile For Pocket PC Phone Edition and MMS support. This could be the final version of the product we showed earlier in July.

Does it appear a little narrower to anyone else? That was really one of the less desirable features about the original. Let's hope! Anyone have dimensions on it?

Default Oh what to do????

Everything about this smells of the XDA-II. If so... then we are talking Bluetooth baby!!!!!

I was suppose to go today and by the 2215. Do I wait???? do I buy it and use it for the 3 months until this comes out? I wanted to by the Orange phone with BT later this year... WAY TO MANY DECISIONS!

w00t! That's the XDA II!

According to the specs that have been released on it, this will be the PPCPE that I can finally "converge" on, and carry one device. Fast enough processor (X-Scale 400MHz), 16-bit color screen, 64MB RAM, SDIO, Bluetooth.

Now I'll be anxiously waiting for it to become available in the U.S., which will probably be sometime next year.

Yay!

Default Next year?

Do you really think it will take that long for the device to be available here?
I would think it would behoove T-Mobile to make the device available in time for Q4 sales of this year...
