I am not a diabetic, but I was compiling a database on this for diet purposes. This is a GREAT product for diabetics.

Getting GI (Glucose Index) information takes a lot of work. The program looks to have a nice interface on top of it.

It does seem like it would be useful for T1s. For T2s, it would be useful to have different targets for before and after meal readings.

However, what it needs is a link to the data created by the meters and pumps. Most of the new ones can download to a PC and it seems redundant to enter the data into the Pocket PC when it's sitting on the PC.

Nice, but I wrote my own (I am a T1) using Syware's Visual CE. I basically need to keep my glucose levels and the amount of issulin I take. I put in a free form comment field for stuff like food, etc.

The best part is that it syncs with my PC into a local Sybase database. I also wrote a small application in PowerBuilder to list the grid of glucose numbers and when you double click on a day, brings up a line chart of the numbers.
