Default Save 20% on Pocket Backup Plus

http://www.spritesoftware.com/produ..._plus_ppct.html

"Pocket Backup Plus is the most comprehensive Backup Utility package available for the Pocket PC. Pocket Backup Plus includes all of the functionality of the standard edition of Pocket Backup, and also allows you to backup directly to your PC or network. The Pocket Backup Plus PC Agent can restore your Pocket PC device even if Pocket Backup Plus is not installed on it. Pocket Backup Plus includes PocketMon and Space Detective, two tools designed to complement Pocket Backup and enhance your Pocket PC device."

If you don't yet have Pocket Backup Plus on your Pocket PC, read this article, and this one. If that doesn't convince you, how about 20% off? This software gets installed onto any Pocket PC I use, because you just never know...

Default great stuff!

Have bought the software a little while ago. Has been a lifesaver already. Really worthwile.

Now that I've written a positive review, do you think I can get a back-date 20% off?

Does their license allow you to install on more than one Pocket PC?

Soooo, which one is better...Proporta's Backup reviewed a couple of weeks ago or PocketBackup Plus? This type of app should be a MUST in anybody's toolbox. Has anybody got an opinion on which one is better, remembering that backing up just isn't good enough if the restore isn't as fool-proof.

Default Customer Service is Pathetic!!!

I have had a useless version of this software because I misplaced my authorization code and several emails have gone completely unanswered. I wish handango could get their act together and implement a system like pocketgear that will keep your auth. codes in your file to be accessed anytime, anywhere without having to beg some developer for it.

And yes I included all the info they would need to process my request. It is a great software package just beware of the shoddy customer service.

Assuming you already have a memory card of your own, I'd say this application would be a better fit - it's more powerful.

I just bought this program a few weeks ago as well and I did a restore and it seems to work just fine.......except.....

I have a PPC Phone Edition and it didn't restore the Speed Dial contacts I have set up . I have about 20 I use and it is a pain to have to reset those each time.

I wrote to the software developer and they said they fixed this problem in their latest version. Great - I downloaded the updated version (which I already had the updated version - just downloaded it again from the provided link) and it still doesn't restore the speed dials.

Does anyone know of anything special you have to do to get these to restore properly? Thanks for any help....

Otherwise, I agree - great product - easy to use - smooth restore (self executing file!)

I am also using it with a PPCPE (XDA). I didn't know that about the speed dials but so far (-----) I have not had to restore. Glad to hear it works though.
