Default Microsoft Money 2004 Launches

http://www.microsoft.com/money/default.asp

Today is the official launch date for Microsoft Money 2004. It is a bit early this year too. Normally it is an August or even September launch.

You can download the trial version of Microsoft Money 2004 for your desktop from (all 18MB of it 8O) and the Microsoft Money 2004 for Pocket PC client here. The Pocket PC requires ActiveSync 3.5 or later and Pocket PC 2002. I am pretty sure that Pocket PC 2003 is supported as well, but I am awaiting confirmation from someone that has installed it.

Update: The readme file that accompanies the products specifically states that Pocket PC 2003 is supported, so the download page just needs to be fixed.

well from the readme file..

1: System Requirements

On Pocket PC:
Pocket PC 2002 or Pocket PC 2003
500K available program memory on Pocket PC

so i guess that suggests it does work. just installed it too.

And I guess for those of us who still find our needs met with ppc2000, even microsoft isn't interested anymore

I know, just use the older money for ppc. Just letting out my frustrations with the progress or sometimes the lack of progress with handhelds. I guess this is a 'cool' release, no other comments.

I'm just happy to see it's compatible with PPC 2003! Now I can upgrade.

2002(03? forget which one I have) is compatible with PPC2003. You just have to go through a somewhat convoluted installation process.
