Default Windows Mobile 2003 Loox Upgrade

http://www.fujitsu-siemens.com/rl/p...ocketloox.html#

Loox owners, you have a Windows Mobile 2003 upgrade waiting for you - but only if you purchased between May 23rd 2003 and September 23, 2003. They have a coupon for users who purchased within that timeframe, and the upgrade will cost $26 USD. If you purchased it before then, the upgrade is still "coming soon". Very strange - I don't know why they'd make such a differentiation, unless they were going to give it for free to recent buyers.

The upgrade will be made available in September whichever category you fall into - those completing the coupon won't get it any sooner.

The coupon is available now, for those who purchased after 23 May, as the upgrade for them will be (technically) free and the coupon is a means of registering the 'want' for the upgrade. The $26 is a postage and admin charge (yeah, I know...!). The upgrade won't be put up for 'sale' to everyone else until nearer the September release date.

Nice to know that Fujitsu isn't leaving their customers out in the cold.
