Default Dell Windows Mobile 2003 Upgrade Released in Canada

For my fellow Canadians who own the most excellent Dell Axim X5, the 2003 upgrade has been released this week. I wasn't able to locate it on Dell's site, but when I called it they had it ready for ordering. The total cost was $45 and change (if memory serves), so I ordered one and should have it next week. I have the original PXA250 version, so it will be interesting to see if the performance problems occur...

Cool, good news. Rumour has it that there is a performance patch available next Friday too.

I pray this is true. I'll be heart broken if I'm stuck with a snail-paced Axim.

That would be nice - the performance rumours of the 2003 Axim upgrade have been pretty worrying so far.

You can say that again. 8O I've been so concerned I've come very close to cancelling my upgrade order and sticking with PPC2002. I'll hold off a bit longer and see if there is any truth to this problem being fixed via patch. :|

I'm with you there Foo- but I was hoping to get 2003 sooner rather than later. I have just had an activesync 'Syncronisation' error issue and I want to start afresh SOON. :|
