Default PPCZone.net Reviews Flip-It!

http://www.ppczone.net/index.php?mo...ws&mid=3&ceid=4

I'm glad I saw this review; this program looks like a blast. Flip-It! (affiliate link) is a program that lets you draw flip books on your Pocket PC. I'm sure you've all seen flip books, or maybe drawn one yourself: it's a series of drawings, each one varying slightly from the last, that when viewed rapidly in sequence (by riffling the pages) produces the illusion of motion.

The author of the review notes that even those without drawing skills can enjoy this program. Anyone can draw stick figures! I'm definitely going to try this program out; even though I'm a terrible artist, I enjoy doodling and this program sounds like a fun, easy way to exercise some creativity. (It sure would have come in handy during the all-day training I was in yesterday! )

Oh, I feel sorry for you, did Jason put you through an all-day PPCT Contributing Editor training yesterday?

Hee hee, no. It was "7 Habits of Highly Successful People." It was actually pretty interesting, but I think it's hard not to get bored during any all-day thing.

Crystal, you have to read the book (or get the CD version).

That book can be life altering... I listened to it in the car over the course of a week's commutes and it was unbelievably meaningful!

I borrowed the book from my boss. It's a dead-tree version, so I just keep it at my desk at work and read a bit here and there.

The seminar is actually proving to be pretty useful, though. I'm also in it for the next two Thursdays; it's a three-day course spread out over three weeks. There's videos of Stephen Covey, then the HR people who are leading the class lead discussions. There's also written exercises, etc.

I agree, there's some pretty inspiring stuff in there.

To (slightly) get back on track...

What a fun piece of software! Stick-figure mayhem for only $5. I can see me going back to this whenever I need to kill a few minutes

Extremely well thought through and easy to use software. Bravo.

Flip-It! has had around 300 downloads, "7 habits.." has sold around 15m copies. I think that tells you all you need to know about what is wrong with the world today

Boy do I ever love this software!
It was the first "game" I ever purchased for my pocket pc. It awakens the artist in you, and it blows your friends away.

And for what it costs, it is on the top of my "Must Have" list.
