http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?...=reviews&id=259

Russ Smith at PocketNow has written a very informative review of the HP Slim Keyboard for the iPaq 3800, 3900, 5400, and 5500 series. Check it out.

Cool, now if only someone will get out their trusty took kit and modify this new add on to include a compact flash slot similar to the silver slider!

What stops me from purchasing the slim keyboard is not being able to use an expansion pack. A real bummer. Has anyone tried a fold-out keyboard that is wider than Compaq foldable? I'm a touch typist and the Compaq keyboard is just too small to really type quicly.

I have one of the original Stowaway Keyboards by ThinkOutside for my iAPQ. I picked it up at CompUSA three weeks ago for US$29. I used one of the new Stowaway XT keyboards on a neighbor's Palm and couldn't stand the fact that there are no dedicated number keys. The size was amazing, and the feel of the keys was great, but I just hated the layout. The original Stowaway is larger, but much more comfortable to type on.

No kidding -- why not add the numbers? The keyboard would be a little deeper, but I can't believe the space saved is really worth the hassle of shifting for numbers.

Now for ThinkOutside, there may be a reason -- cost. I'm sure the fewer keys, the cheaper the product.
