Default Flexible Screens

http://www2.telegraaf.nl/digi/article2116551.ece

"Pioneer heeft vandaag een prototype laten zien van een nieuwe draagbare computer. De computer zit verstopt in een jas, terwijl het beeldscherm duidelijk zichtbaar is op de mouw." Translation: "Look, a Organic film electro-luminescent (EL) flexible display! Woo hoo!"

Seriously, if anyone can translate that page we'd appreciate it. Google's translation failed.

Tried the Dutch translator at WordLingo (www.wordlingo.com) and got this:

AMSTERDAM - Pioneer have shown today a prototype of a new portable computer. The computer sits hides in a coat, whereas the display device is clearly visible on the sleeve.

The beelscherm exist from ` organic film electro-luminescent (EL) posting. The thin, light and flexible film forms an important component of the ` portable computer. Research workers of Pioneer think that the coat can bring help at certain occupational groups, such as medici and fire people.

What it is talking about is the new product called "Electronic Ink" Here are a few web pages talking about it. It's going to be awesome when it does come into the market.

My attempt at a clean translation:

Today, Pioneer showed a prototype of a new portable computer. The computer is embedded in a jacket, while the display is clearly visible on the sleeve.

The screen is made from a "organic film electro-luminescent (EL) display". The thin, light, and flexible film forms an important component of the "portable computer". Researchers from Pioneer think that the jacket could be useful for certain jobs, such as doctors and firemen.
