Using Pocket PCs To Control Your Model Trains
http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/answerstips/story/0,24330,2334135,00.html
"When it comes to model trains, gone are the days of simple plug-it-in and wire-it-to-the-track power packs. On today's show, Steve Pope of Zilog will show you how the model railroad is about to get an upgrade. Get out your PDA. You can use it to command and control your model railroad wirelessly and via the Internet."
TechTV has more information on you you can use a Zilog eZ80 Embedded Web Server and any wirelessly enabled Pocket PC to control your model trains.

I saw this episode (A few months ago) and I personally couldn't get over the things Zilog was doing with embeded servers. Very cool sidebar they have on the show about some neat things you can do when you add web server capabilities to say a phone jack. Only bummer was the volume they make you buy in. Not sure I need 10,000 phone jacks.

zilog is back
i'm just happy that zilog is back. i remember back in the days of the zx spectrum. programming in z80 assembler for that hunk of beautiful silicon was a dream. much easier than say the mc68k, or that nighmare that are still with us, the x86.
go z80!!

Ed, I can visualize you sitting on the porch running MS Train Simulator via a Terminal Services session on your PPC. Probably loses something without the sounds though
