Default GeoKron 2.0

http://vistasoft.com/geokron/

"Vistasoft, Inc., a leading developer of windows applications for Pocket PC, today announced the immediate availability of version 2.0 of GeoKron for Pocket PC. GeoKron is a world time keeping system designed specifically for Pocket PC. Version 2.0 of GeoKron is a major upgrade. New with this version is a zoom-in world map that is derived from actual satellite photos of the earth provided by NASA. As in prior versions, the world map shows where it is light and dark around the world. With version 2.0, city lights are shown in dark areas, and you are able to zoom-in on cities and areas of the world to show more detail.

New features in version 2.0 include:

Zoom-in World Map derived from actual satellite photos of the earth
City lights are shown in dark areas
Certified by Microsoft to be "Designed for Pocket PC"
City database has been expanded to over 500 cities
 Clear Type is supported

GeoKron displays an attractive color map that shows where it is currently light and dark around the world. Also shown are the current time and day in your home city, and 4 other cities throughout the world. You can choose cities from a built in list of over 500 cities, or you can add your own cities. The local time in each city is automatically adjusted for daylight savings time."

I was thinking the same same. Citytime is really outstanding software, IMO, but this looks like it has some interesting features.

I'd buy it if it could zoom down further, Maybe actually show some cities or roads or something like that. I doubt if that will ever happen though.

It is essentially a rip off of CityTime, but at least they have their own graphic now. It's nice to see they did implement something on their own. :?

But they still get the time wrong in Mexico, Iraq, Brazil, Isreal and a number of other countries. Just wait until version 2.0 of CityTime

What ever happened to innovation, originality etc. This is a blatant clone that should be ignored accordingly. They obviously have coding talent so why just copy somebody else's work ? .... Support the original instead...
