Gang Warfare Screen Shots
If you've been following the development of this great-looking first-person shooter game, go check out their site now - they have some screen shots posted, and for a Pocket PC game, this looks amazing! If the game play works, this could be a game that defines the platform.

Wow, the graphics look incredible! I wonder if the speed of gameplay is acceptable, or choppy? Hmm.
On a side note, isn't it just great the trend you can see the games going in (in general)? Games like Druglord and Gang Warfare... just gives me a warm fuzzy, you know what I mean?

For a PocketPC game.. wow! I am impressed with the screenshots.
It's all about gameplay though - I found Tomb Raider annoying to play, even though the graphics were pretty good.
If the gameplay is good - this looks like it could set the bar.

Graphics look sweet
But in the end graphics are only a way to see what is going on. Games that are really fun work well with the terrible button snesitivity, have great level design, interesting story, and are generally just fun to play. So a picture here and there doesn't help that much. Otherwise quake would be one of the best pocket pc games. Although i would be looking forward to a nice FPS. Honestly after Duke Nuken 3ds source being opened up i would love to have a copy of that game for my pocket pc. That was my favorite FPS of all time. It was funny, had amazing level design, and the gameplay just ruled. Good job for developing more games though.... keep em coming.

Yup that's our London town - though why there's nobody waiting for a train at Camden at 7.34 beats me...

Wow! This looks kick ass. Is there a multiplayer option?
Off topic: since getting broadband, I've grown addicted to multiplayer PC gaming. Anyone play NOLF 2 online? Hilarious!!!

Unfortunately....
Looks terrific...but no matter how good this game turns out to be...even if its smooth as silk...playability of action games on any current Pocket PC will be severely hampered by the poor control options. The little joypad on the Ipaq 5450 is particularly difficult to use (even on the newer, fixed revs).
After the Spawn debacle, I finally gave up on trying to wrangle fun action gaming out of my Ipaq and picked up one of the new Gameboy SPs. AWESOME! I highly recommend it and for only $99, its well worth it. Not only are the controls MADE for gaming, but the thing gets 10 hours of battery life, is very light and comfortable to hold, doesn't need a screen protector since it folds up closed, and most importantly - has TONS of games out - as well as a thriving homebrew scene (you can purchase flashable carts with a USB cable ).
I know there are plenty of good Pocket PC games, but if you like ACTION games, I'd suggest you reconsider.
