Ten Most Significant Events in Pocket PC History
"On April 19, 2000, Microsoft launched Pocket PC at Grand Central Terminal in New York and I was fortunate enough to represent Brighthand at the event. Much has happened since then and Brighthand has followed it every step of the way. So to commemorate the third anniversary of the platform, we've compiled our list of the ten top events that have shaped the Pocket PC platform."

Looking into the future, the top ten for the next decade would only have one item listed ten times: "ActiveSync syncs on first try and even several times without operator intervention."

But what about the software?
I like Steve's list. Seems to give all the hardware highlights.
My highlights?
TextMaker
PocketArtist
The several third party replacements for PowerPoint
Laridian PocketBible
A plethora of real arcade quality games (not that I care, I don't play them, but they are significant to the market.)
Sketch Artist
Palbum
Photogenics
Pocket Earth & PocketWorldInfo
DivX (Is that what it is called? Anyway, TV/video watching on your PPC)
All on TOP OF a complete set of apps included with almost all PPCs.
Like the above, I wonder what the future top ten will be?
VGA!
1 Gigahertz processors
A gig flash cards for less than $100. (coming soon now, maybe this year.)
Built-in cameras
