An Entire Billiards Table In Your Pocket
http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&catalog=0§ionId=0&productId=64325
If you've ever held a billiards cue in your hand or fancied yourself another "Minnesota Fats," Billiard Master is game you'll definitely enjoy.

This new billiard/pool simulation game from DigYs has all the features needed for very realistic play:
Various games, including 8Ball, 9Ball and Practice games True ball rotations Ball direction hint Ball spinning control, for true "english" on shots Cue raise/lower control Precise cue adjustment control True physics Realistic sound AI opponent with 3 difficulty levels Auto-save option Statistics of played games
This is just the kind of game I really enjoy, because of the attention that's been given to detail. You can choose the angle of each shot, how hard you strike the ball and how much spin you put on the ball. About the only thing you can't do is chalk up your cue. There's a free demo available and you can get the full version for $19.95 from Handango.

I got it last week and it has been difficult to put it down. The only thing they could have done is offer a choice of views (like ZioGolf). It is top down only. All in all, it is a very well put together game with great attention to detail.

Nice - I do like a well-put-together game. One to download I think.

I still miss the pool game in Palm OS. Two people can play together via infrared. Why don't they add this feather? Up to now, I didn't find any game which can let a few people play together via infrared.

I was looking for a replacement for Pocket Hustler, a game that apparently it's makers would not udate to work on newer XScale devices or even answer their email
This looks like a possibility

I've spent even more time playing with this tonight, waiting for my wife to return from work. It's very fun to play, very realistic, and very intuitive. I think the only suggested changes I would make are:
Make it more obvious whether you're "solids" or "stripes" once that first ball has been sunk.
Make the distinction between solid and striped balls more obvious, without having to turn on the number designations.
Include a zoom or half-table view.
These are really small things, though.
