Is this another of the several brands manufactured by Socket? If so, that's a fabulous deal. Personally I'm long on 802.11b cards though, I really want an 802.11g CF card. I suppose we'll be more likely to see one after the standard is final.

I saw this in the store the other day and almost bought it, but the fact that I had never heard of the company made me hesitate. Also I'm not going to even have my wireless network set up for a few more weeks so it was $70(before rebate) that could be better spent until then But is this company any good?

I have been using it in my Dell as well. Loaded the drivers off the CD, stuck in the card and away it went. ZERO problems!

Default Same card not working with my Axim

I've been trying to connect my Axim to the wireless router at work. If I use this card in the adapter in my laptop (also a Dell), I get connected to the router just fine. But for some reason I think the router isn't recognizing the Axim through the card. Anyone had this problem, or know of any solutions?

Default AmbiCom CF 802.11b Card - MIPS Drivers?

Does anybody know if there are MIPS drivers available? I checked AmbiCom and BestBuy's websites, but neither lists processor architectures.
