The RATOC card I mentioned a few weeks ago is now available for preorder. Apparently, the release date is March 3.

Question: what USB devices are there with Pocket PC drivers? What would I realistically be able to use with this adaptor?

There is a USB mass storage driver from a guy name Deje at this web site: http://www.deje.gmxhome.de/index.html which will allow you to use cd rom drives, hdd drives, and directly connect a digital camera.
There are also floppy drives that will work.
You can get a mouse driver/pointer from Deje too.
FYI, Casio E-200 users have been using Deje's drivers for about 5 months--USB host is built in on that machine. 8)

Argh, it's Type II! Could have been handy for my lil Jornada here...
But, at $149 (100?)... 'handy' isn't really worth it.

Useful
This could really come in handy when I finally migrate to SD storage but until then I can;t move my files from the digital camera to my microdrive if I'm susing a card. It's a good idea though and hopefully vendors will take notice and start using usb on the go instead of theri proprietary connections. it can;t be that hard can it?

I've got the same phone, and I'm not hopeful. I think Sprint uses proprietary software to make the connection on a PC (laptop) and I doubt they'll support Pocket PCs.
But if someone makes this work, I'd love to know about it!!

Duplicates cleaned up.
By the way, I'm not that surprised at the price - this is a new product, and a fairly custom one at that. Let's hope the price does go down, though -- $139 is definitely too expensive for all but the desperate ones.
