This Great Software Just Got Better
http://www.handango.com/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&platformId=2&productType=2&catalog=0&sectionId=0&productId=24595
Conduits Technologies has announced an update of its popular slideshow application, Pocket Slides. Since it was first released, this has been the premier PowerPoint viewer for the Pocket PC.
There are TONS of new features with version 1.7:
PowerPoint file embedding, for easier round-trip document management PPT presentation optimization, for quicker rendering Slide Sorter Outline View Customized slide background support VGA-out device support expanded Increased inbox attachment conversion support Redesigned conversion interface VGA device and resolution autodetection Increased overall product robustness through product fixes PowerPoint 97 support Autoshape conversion Loading large presentations (over 50+ slides) ...and more.
This always been one of my "must-have" applications, and it just became even more powerful. With previous versions, it was pretty difficult to do any real editing or moving of slides once they were on the Pocket PC. With this enhanced power, though, there is now absolutely no reason why you have to lug your notebook PC around with you just to give a PowerPoint presentation.
You can download a demo of Pocket Slides using the Handango link above and purchase the full version for $39.95. Version 1.7 is a free upgrade for registered 1.X users.

Office 11
Foo,
We currently do not have access to the Office 11 beta. We believe that Pocket Slides 1.7 will function correctly with it. Of course, by the time Office 11 is released, we will have identified any incompatibilities and will have released a patch if need be.
The good news is that we now support users with PowerPoint 97 (and that's quite a user base) fully. Earlier versions of Pocket Slides had a few conversion quirks. So, we support PowerPoint 97, 2000, and XP (2002) at this time.
Thanks!

Since we have a Company person reading and responding to the thread, why not find out from the source. If not it will also tell them that there are those of us with FlyJacket that want to use their product.
Time to download and try the product could be better spent if we can get reliable info from a knowledgable source easily.
