Default iPaq 3950/3955 ROM 1.11 Released

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/f...load/17346.html

We reported earlier that the ROM 1.1 update for 3950/3955 users actually caused their Pocket PCs to be underclocked to 300MHz. HP has released a point release, 1.11, which apparently fixes the problem.

Remeber, you are going to have to do a HARD RESET after this ROM upgrade and you will lose ALL your information/software on the device. Further, a full restore from CF backup will not work properly. Selective files restored from a CF backup will work, but I don't recommend trying to restore the registry and/or the /WINDOWS folder.

Back up EVERYTHING before you begin and be ready to reinstall ALL your software (have those registration codes handy).

Indeed it is. It seems like a server failure though, not a page pull-down. Even http://www.hp.com/support/files/ is dead right now.
