Yes -- I'm buying it the moment they put in SSL IMAP. Inbox has no support for it, so unless you're using Exchange you're transmitting your password in plaintext. :cry:
There are tricks to get Inbox working with SSL, but it requires some manual setup every time you want to go check your mail.

newbie question... does imap work offline & then catchup over usb?
Apologies for this newbie question - I'm transitioning from Palm and don't have my Pocket PC yet (ipaq 1910 on its way yay!)...
I'm guessing that I can use @mail with IMAP to:
1) initially sync selected folders and messages
2) work offline to read, delete and compose email
3) re-connect via USB to process changes against IMAP server and also pick up new mail
-> repeat 2 & 3
Aside from the (pending) SSL support, is there anything that @mail does with imap that's significantly different from the Pocket Inbox? (Put another way, how bad is the IMAP support with Pocket Inbox?)
thanks in advance for any help!

I can't answer your questions directly, because I don't use IMAP, but you might want to post your questions on the @mail discussion forum over at http://www.pocketinformant.com/Forums/, as well as here.
