Sony Ericsson P800 Released
Swedish PDA site mobil reports that Sony Ericsson's long awaited smartphone has been released and is available in most Telia and some Geab stores in Sweden. Expect to see many reports, photos, screen shots and reviews all around the Web very soon. The image below comes from www.psionpage.ch. Note that even Sony Ericsson dropped "Mobile" from "Internet!

I must be behind with regards to SonyEriccson. I'm the only one surprised that Sony is helping to push an MS based OS when they have big business in the form of the Clie...

Yes, I'm a fan of the MS based solutions, but I must admit that on paper the P800 sounds way cool. Can't wait to try one in person, and see if they're as good as their specs. Until then I'm looking forward reading the reviews of production units.

I have had a Preproduction unit for about 2 months now and i am impressed. The only sticking point is that i have not been able to get a hold of the synching software for the Phone so I am only using 50% of the device.

What's great about this unit, in my opinion, is that it has Bluetooth. So you could still theoretically carry around a P800 (which is not so bad) and a Pocket PC
I'm also watching to see when it'll hit the US. If the T68 is any precedent, though, think 6-12 months.
