true engineers "improve" a product
As a true engineer, he probably couldn't restore it to it's original state, and would have sent it back in pieces :wink: I would have loved to see the faces of the marketing department of HP/Compaq when they recieve a unit back like that

Well... I've spoken with Dale where we imagined the looks on the faces of Compaq support when they get to see his 3870 with 128 MB of RAM and the internal big battery.

Darn it... that should be a tell-tale sign to Compaq engineers and marketing folks that there is a market for such devices.
