Default T-Mobile/O2 XDA/Siemens SX56 Power Sync Charging USB Cable

http://store.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/clin...obxdapowsy.html

The generous people at Gomadic sent me a USB sync/charge cable for my XDA, and I love it! Like all Gomadic cables, the plastic is soft and flexible, and doesn't get locked into a certain position over time like some cables do. I find cables like this are perfect for travelling since I usually take my laptop with me if I'm going away long enough to exhaust the battery on my Pocket PC. One less bulky AC adaptor to carry with me.

And since we're in the season of giving, Gomadic gave me two extra cables to give away! The first two XDA/T-Mobile owners to post a response to this message will get a cable sent to them (please only post if you can use this item). If you're not lucky enough to be one of the winners, you can still get a 10% discount using the coupon code "ppcthoughts". That coupon code also functions as an affiliate code for us. Spread the joy I say! :bday:

"Simply your life! Charge your PocketPC Phone while synchronizing data with Gomadics new T-Mobile/O2 XDA/Siemens SX56 Power Sync USB Cable. Custom designed for the mobile professional who wants to reduce the number of cables required to support life on the road. By connecting this 5-foot long cable between the base of the PocketPC Phone and a standard USB port, users can simultaneously recharge their T-Mobile / O2 XDA / ATT Siemens SX56 phone while auto synchronizing data with their desktop or laptop PC. No bulky cradles, no AC power adapters and no additional software are required!"

Woohoo! I win!
To clearify, I'm waiting for my T-mobile to get here, then I can put this to use.

this should have been the XDA/Tmobile photo contest instead of the serial cable giveaway. who still uses serial cables anyways?

By the way, this cable will also sync and charge the Orange SPV Smartphone.

I guess my question is why people prefer this type of cable so much. When I'm near a desk with lots of workspace, I prefer a cradle, because it makes it easy to see my Pocket PC screen. When I don't have a lot of space, I use IR or WiFi to synch.
