Default Pocket PC Used at the New York Stock Exchange

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/021205/161/2t85r.html

This photo from Yahoo! News is taken at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). I can see that "327" uses an iPAQ Pocket PC and most likely a WiFi PC Card. But what is "204" using? Read on to check out the picture!
UPDATE: I just learned from HP that 204 uses an older Casio Cassiopeia. HP says NYSE has 100 iPAQ Pocket PC and more is on the way!
"Traders work on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange (news - web sites) December 4, 2002. Stocks are expected to chug higher at the opening bell on Dec. 5 as four straight sessions of declines in the broad Standard and Poor's 500 and the blue-chip Dow lure bargain-hungry investors back into the market. (Peter Morgan/Reuters)"

What are you guys talking about. The guy with 327 on his shirt has an iPAQ and it looks like that dual CF sleeve with the black grips at each of the 4 corners. the big tablet thing isn't a P800. The P800 is a smartphone product running Symbian that has a very small screen.

I think that was a joke about the P800...at least I hope so (A little dig if you will).

I sure do hope the APs are locked if that's really a WiFi card in the Ipaq. :P

Default Device ID

Both guesses are incorrect.

The device in question is a Casio Fiva running Windows98.

The radio card is a Symbol 802.11 frequency hopper. Most of the financial markets still use the older frequency hoppers for many reasons.

Ipaqs are slowly becomin more prevelent on the trading floors because it is one of the very few PPC that is capable of slotting a PCMCIA radio card.

That really doesn't look like the same thing, the Fiva is a subnotebook, and from what I can gather, does NOT have a touchscreen.
