I saw this product demonstrated last September at the Frontline Solutions show in Chicago. Very cool and great for real world PPC scanning and imaging applications. Scans differing barcode setups ( including PDF417 ) and allows one to take a picture of either the parcels being delivered and the person that signs for them for authencity purposes.
To elaborate a little further, the IT 4000 image module thats included in the SDK is a HHP (formerly Hand Held Products, a Welch Allyn affiliate) product.
